How to Prepare

I began posting 6 years ago about the need to "Prepare" for difficult times ahead. Those times are here. Jesus referred to these times as "the beginning of sorrows." I don't feel that I am an alarmist but a realist. I am one who "sees" the present and also the days ahead. Biden said that this will be a dark winter and Trump said our best days are still ahead. I see both happening simultaneously. Faith says that darkness does not have the ability to suppress or to hold the light under its domain. Even in the midst of a dark winter the light of God overtakes the darkness. It is the beginning of sorrows and the beginning of the great awakening!

I was criticized for saying we need to store emergency food but I have not allowed criticism to stop me from telling people to prepare. I also believe that God will provide. As the old gospel song said, "God will take care of you, Through everyday o'er all the way. He will take care of you, God will take care of you." Which way is right? I believe both ways are right.

Here is my basic list of ways to practically prepare:

1. Food & water

2. Basic essentials

3. Alternative source of power

4. Alternative source of communication

5. Alternative ways to cook

6. Protective weapon

7. Full tank of gas in your vehicles

8. Alternative source of money (silver coins, gold)

9. Prepare to plant a small garden

10. Way to collect rainwater & purification tablets

11. Alternative method of transportation (bicycle)

Prayer life, Bible reading & study, inspirational books, CDs, small worship gatherings with neighbors.

There is Something Happening Here

 

 

Bob Dylan has a song Ballad of a Thin Man and the chorus is "Because something is happening here but you don’t know what it is. Do you, Mister Jones?"

This secular prophet is saying something to those who have ears to hear, "Because something is happening here but you don't know what it is." Yes, there IS something happening here and it is always the darkest just before dawn. In Genesis 1:2-3 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light,' and there was light." Throughout the Earth, there is a feeling of emptiness and chaos. Nobody knows what is happening but they know something is happening. It seems out of control but even in this darkness, the Spirit of God is hovering.

On Christmas morning, just before dawn (6:30 am), an explosion shook Nashville and for many shook us from our stupor. This will prove to not be someone committing suicide but the beginning of a series of events that will shake America. Americans will be shocked to learn of deep dark secrets that have steadily dimmed the light of freedom for decades. Gross darkness has covered our land. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. Isaiah 60:2. Notice the attack happened on Christmas morning! It was not an accident.

God has a destiny for America to fulfill and He is not finished with this nation but we are very close to His judgment. Read all of Isaiah 60 and you will see that God will have mercy. The Spirit is hovering over the darkness and the light is about to shine. He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings utter darkness into the light. Job 12:22

There is a deep state of evil in our nation and it affects the entire world. The nation as God intended has been stolen. Jesus said, "The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy." It is as simple as good versus evil! Those who do evil have attempted to steal the liberty God gave to America in its creation. These are evil men and women manipulated by satan and his demonic powers. Satan comes to destroy that which is good. These men and women have no conscience. Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead. 1 Timothy 4:1-2.

The blood of the innocent cries out for truth and justice. These traitors to America will be exposed and their power will come to an abrupt end. Their wealth will be nothing more than bags with holes. The perpetrators of sins against children will suffer the greatest judgment. There are leaders in America who have played significant roles in the child trafficking and drug industries. They will be exposed to the sick creatures they truly are. They sold their souls for money and power. Just before their exposure, many will fake their own death and commit suicide. Those who slandered the President will receive their just reward. Those who committed treason against America will be put to death. The blood of innocent veterans will be avenged.

Mr. Jones in Bob Dylan's song is every true American patriot. Our eyes are being opened to the truth and we know what is happening. Our eyes shall see the glory of the Lord in our land once again!

Remnant of Spiritual Patriots

"So also at the present time, there is a remnant, chosen by grace." Romans 11:5 Those of His people whom He had set aside for holy purposes, those He labels as “remnant.” This is a spiritual remnant.

A nation has a general population who enjoy all the benefits of being a citizen. A nation also has those who are patriots; persons who vigorously support their country and are prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors. Patriots are the remnant within a nation of citizens who are willing to die for the preservation of the country they love.

God also has a remnant of spiritual patriots within the nation who seek first the kingdom and are committed to protecting that liberty against all deceptive tactics of the enemy. Are you in the remnant of America?

When God Uses a Patriot

Former Senator and Attorney General Jeff Sessions is a true friend. His devotion and love for this country are genuine regardless of whatever you may think. You will soon see that this is true. Not only does God have His hand on Senator Sessions but he will soon play an important role in our nation once again. Below is a letter that he wrote to me and I want you to look closely at the underlined sentences (my edit). He called me a "strong patriot" and I fully believe that "it takes one to know one!" Do not take the term patriot lightly.

Violent Persons Taking the Kingdom of Heaven

This is not an alarmist post but a preparation post for those who trust my understanding of Scripture. I have been pondering the following Scripture verse for 50 years and never have been satisfied with how it has been taught and preached by the vast majority of preachers and churches.

"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." Matthew 11:12

Most translate this by saying that persons exhibiting strong, passionate, and violent faith take the kingdom of heaven. I have always had reservations in my spirit about this translation. I base this understanding on the words of Jesus in Luke 12:32 "Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." God "gives" the kingdom and it is His delight and desire. God's flock (family, friends) does not have to violently and forcefully "take" it.

Who would Jesus be referring to in Matthew 11:12? I firmly believe it is violent and forceful persons. We read about the violent in the Earth in Psalms 2:1-3 "Why do the nations protest and the peoples conspire in vain? Kings on earth rise up and princes plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one: 'Let us break their shackles and cast off their chains from us!'”

We have witnessed a steady move away from God in our nation. It will only increase in the coming years. With this decline in godliness, evil continues to increase. The majority of Americans still believe this nation is "under God" but the majority is quickly eroding. We are witnessing the loss of love for our country, its flag, and its long-established values. We see the loss of respect for those in authority and for the sanctity of life. Those who are anti-law and order and advocate violent protests are taking the kingdom by force. The mainstream media is taking it by force. Many within our government and religious organizations are forcefully taking it. They are "taking it captive!" I will not be silent any longer.

I will be respectful of others who disagree with my opinions and beliefs. I will with the help of God attempt to walk in love. I love God and the kingdom of heaven first and foremost. Just below my love for God and the kingdom is my love for America. I was willing to die for it 50 years ago and I am again today. I will not quietly sit by and watch America be destroyed from within or from outside forces. It is not the responsibility of the government to feed the poor and destitute! It is the responsibility of the churches in every city and community. The Church can no longer abdicate or turn a blind eye to the truly needy of our society.

I see troubled and violence-filled days shortly ahead in our country. I also see shortages of daily necessities in the near future. I also see the beginning of a great spiritual awakening that will sweep across the land. God will not be mocked, muzzled, or ignored. We will be given a season of grace and mercy; one last chance to turn back to God.
